Kolkata for a long weekend: sights, food and shopping
Three or four days in Kolkata from Dhaka: Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, College Street books, Park Street food and New Market.
A three-day Kolkata break with heritage buildings, museums and markets. A short Kolkata visit works best with one heritage-and-museum day and flexible arrival time. The three destination days include two Kolkata hotel nights, with road-transit nights counted separately. Your journey links the authorised entry route with a city heritage day and unhurried market time. This is a city holiday; medical appointments or visa-processing services are separate requests.

A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Travel by the flight or authorised land route specified in your booking. Allow time for immigration and the onward transfer before settling in. Check in to the quoted accommodation. Enjoy a short Park Street or nearby neighbourhood walk.
Day 2
Visit Victoria Memorial, whose white marble silhouette stands among broad gardens. Choose the Indian Museum or another indoor cultural visit. Allow a proper lunch break between attractions. Explore a selected market at your own pace; purchases are optional.
Day 3
Check out and travel to your confirmed airport or permitted border route. Return to Dhaka with a realistic traffic and immigration buffer.
Visa support
We can prepare the visa side of your international tour and keep your documents consistent with the route you are booking.
Visa decisions are made only by embassies and immigration authorities. We prepare and check your file before you submit it.
Optional choices: Additional museum, food walk, shopping transfer or a longer Kolkata stay, each at extra cost.
Cooler months make Kolkata’s heritage streets, museum visits and market walks especially comfortable.
Breathable clothes, sun and rain protection, comfortable shoes, medicines and booking copies; use modest clothing at religious sites.
Indian rupee INR. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Travel requires a valid passport and the entry and transit permissions for the complete route. The Indian visa must permit the actual airport or land-border route. Heritage visits involve walking and attraction opening schedules; medical appointments are outside this leisure package.
Our representative will meet and welcome you at the agreed arrival point, then help you continue to your hotel or next transfer.
Confirming your holiday means you have read and accepted the cancellation terms.
Applicable taxes are included in the package price shown on this page unless a specific government or supplier charge is noted separately.
Step 1
Tell us your date and how many are travelling. It takes a minute.
Step 2
A consultant replies within 4 business hours with availability and the full price in BDT.
Step 3
Once you confirm, we book everything and our desk stays on call while you are away.
Every package can change to fit your dates, budget and group. The cancellation policy above covers the package; airline tickets and some hotels have their own rules, and we tell you those before you pay anything.
