Sikkim from Bangladesh: Gangtok, high lakes and permits
Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake and North Sikkim from Bangladesh: why permits shape the plan, how to cope with the altitude and what warm clothes to pack.
Gangtok, monasteries and a high-lake excursion across five days in Sikkim. Base the trip in Gangtok for monastery visits, town walks and the mountain setting of Tsomgo Lake. The five-day route includes one out-of-town excursion; a Pelling overnight replaces a Gangtok night as a separate stay variation.
Starting fromBDT 35,700Per person

Per person, for the whole trip. The more of you travel together, the less each pays.
A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Begin the journey to Gangtok through the foothills. Continue to Gangtok on the approved route with a generous hill-road buffer. Walk on MG Marg, then settle into a relaxed first evening.
Day 2
Travel to high-altitude Tsomgo Lake, framed by steep mountain slopes. Return to Gangtok for a relaxed evening.
Day 3
Visit permitted monasteries such as Rumtek or Enchey according to their visitor rules. Add the Gangtok ropeway for a view across the town and surrounding hills. Leave time for the town and an unhurried meal.
Day 4
Spend the day exploring Namchi or Pelling as the out-of-town excursion. The day follows one hill route, leaving room to enjoy the stops along the way. Return to your Gangtok accommodation after the excursion.
Day 5
Check out and descend on the approved route. Continue to the arranged airport or border and allow immigration and road buffers.
Visa support
We can prepare the visa side of your international tour and keep your documents consistent with the route you are booking.
Visa decisions are made only by embassies and immigration authorities. We prepare and check your file before you submit it.
Optional choices: Ropeway tickets, the high-lake activity and a Pelling overnight variation are paid additions to the base stay.
Spring brings flowers to Sikkim’s hills; autumn offers cool air and a quieter rhythm for monasteries and town walks.
Warm layers, grip shoes, rain protection and documents for the authorised entry route.
Indian rupee INR. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Travel requires a valid passport and the entry and transit permissions for the complete route. Bangladesh passport holders need the applicable Sikkim clearance in addition to an Indian visa, with separate protected-area authorisation for Tsomgo. The itinerary operates within the areas authorised for the group; Nathula, Baba Mandir and North Sikkim are outside this route. High-altitude roads, slopes and steps require suitable fitness, and snow or clear views are seasonal rather than fixed features.
Our representative will meet and welcome you at the agreed arrival point, then help you continue to your hotel or next transfer.
Confirming your holiday means you have read and accepted the cancellation terms.
Applicable taxes are included in the package price shown on this page unless a specific government or supplier charge is noted separately.
Step 1
Tell us your date and how many are travelling. It takes a minute.
Step 2
A consultant replies within 4 business hours with availability and the full price in BDT.
Step 3
Once you confirm, we book everything and our desk stays on call while you are away.
Every package can change to fit your dates, budget and group. The cancellation policy above covers the package; airline tickets and some hotels have their own rules, and we tell you those before you pay anything.
