Sylhet and Sreemangal: train, road or flight from Dhaka?
How to get from Dhaka to Sylhet and Sreemangal, which town to visit first, how many days to allow and how to beat the weekend and holiday rush.
A two-day tea-country escape with a permitted estate visit, Madhabpur Lake and a manageable Lawachara walk. A short tea-country stay works well with a permitted estate visit, one flexible lake or tea-shop stop and a manageable forest walk. This is a gentle nature break; a demanding Hum Hum trek is not hidden inside the same two days. Your overnight base provides a restful break between tea-country sightseeing and the forest walk.
Starting fromBDT 3,500Per person

A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Arrive in Sreemangal by the confirmed transport. Check in to your Sreemangal accommodation. Walk through a tea estate’s green rows and discover the working landscape behind the tea. Enjoy a Madhabpur Lake or tea-shop outing before the evening at your accommodation.
Day 2
Take a guided or authorised Lawachara trail suitable for your group. Allow time for a meal and rest after walking. Return to the confirmed train or coach connection with a safe buffer.
Optional choices: A tea-factory tour, extra resort night or a separate Baikka Beel visit, each at extra cost.
Monsoon greens the hills and wetlands; cooler months bring comfortable tea-country and forest walks.
Grip shoes, light long clothing, rain cover, sun protection, personal medicines, drinking water, ID and a small dry bag. Keep luggage light for station and local transfers.
Bangladeshi taka BDT. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Wetland boats and riverside visits follow water level, weather and local access rules. Tea estates and forest trails require visitor permission; shrine and community visits require respectful dress and consent. Forest paths, boat boarding and uneven ground require suitable walking ability.
Our representative will meet and welcome you at the agreed arrival point, then help you continue to your hotel or next transfer.
Confirming your holiday means you have read and accepted the cancellation terms.
