Sri Lanka's classic loop: Kandy, tea country and the coast
A first-timer's route through Sri Lanka: Kandy's temple, the tea estates of Nuwara Eliya, the hill train to Ella and the south coast, with days.
A six-day Sri Lanka route with Kandy, tea country, a south-coast stop and a return night near the airport. Connect Colombo, Kandy, tea country and a south-coast stop with room for the substantial road transfers. The six-day version adds an airport-area night after the coast for a comfortable break before departure. A five-day version is a separate shorter-route variation. A scenic rail section is a paid alternative to part of a road day.
Starting fromBDT 66,300Per person

Per person, for the whole trip. The more of you travel together, the less each pays.
A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Arrive at Bandaranaike Airport, complete entry formalities and transfer to the confirmed Colombo-area stay. Keep sightseeing and dinner close to the hotel on your first evening.
Day 2
Allow for road conditions on the transfer to Kandy. Visit the Temple of the Tooth, take a meal break and enjoy a gentle lakeside walk.
Day 3
Travel to the agreed highland base. Visit a tea estate to see the rows of tea bushes and learn about the highland growing landscape. Add a reserved scenic rail segment in place of part of the road journey. Stay at the confirmed property.
Day 4
Allow a substantial road journey out of the hills with rest breaks. Walk through Galle Fort’s lanes and along its historic coastal setting before your evening stay. Check in to the named coastal stay and keep the evening quiet.
Day 5
Enjoy a short coastal morning, then travel to your airport-area accommodation. Spend the night near the airport, with the morning departure transfer arranged for you.
Day 6
Check out, transfer to the airport with check-in time and return on confirmed tickets.
Visa support
We can prepare the visa side of your international tour and keep your documents consistent with the route you are booking.
Read our visa guide: Sri Lanka
Visa decisions are made only by embassies and immigration authorities. We prepare and check your file before you submit it.
Optional choices: Reserved scenic rail, extra coast nights or a shorter Colombo–Kandy route; wildlife parks require a separately designed extension.
Tea country brings cool hill air above Sri Lanka’s warmer lowlands, followed by the south coast’s sea breeze.
Breathable clothes, sun and rain protection, comfortable shoes, medicines and booking copies; use modest clothing at religious sites.
Sri Lankan rupee LKR. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Travel requires a valid passport and the entry and transit permissions for the complete route. Temple visits require respectful dress, and tea-estate access requires visitor permission. Long hill-road transfers and scenic rail services follow weather and operating conditions. Coastal activities follow local sea and swimming warnings.
Our representative will meet and welcome you at the agreed arrival point, then help you continue to your hotel or next transfer.
Confirming your holiday means you have read and accepted the cancellation terms.
Applicable taxes are included in the package price shown on this page unless a specific government or supplier charge is noted separately.
Step 1
Tell us your date and how many are travelling. It takes a minute.
Step 2
A consultant replies within 4 business hours with availability and the full price in BDT.
Step 3
Once you confirm, we book everything and our desk stays on call while you are away.
Every package can change to fit your dates, budget and group. The cancellation policy above covers the package; airline tickets and some hotels have their own rules, and we tell you those before you pay anything.
