Sylhet by water: Ratargul, Bisnakandi, Jaflong and Lalakhal
Ratargul, Bisnakandi, Jaflong and Lalakhal: which of Sylhet's water spots shine in the monsoon, which suit winter, and how to stay safe on the river.
A two-day Sylhet break focused on Ratargul, Jaflong and an optional respectful shrine visit. A compact Sylhet stay focuses on Ratargul and Jaflong rather than combining every river and viewpoint in two days. The first day introduces Sylhet’s greenery after arrival and rest. Keep any shrine visit optional and respectful. Jaflong brings a border-area river landscape to the second day.
Starting fromBDT 3,200Per person

A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Arrive in Sylhet by the train, coach or other transport agreed in your quotation. Check in and allow a meal and rest break. Visit Ratargul’s freshwater swamp-forest setting, then a tea garden for a different side of Sylhet’s greenery.
Day 2
Travel toward Jaflong’s river and hill landscape. Use a safe, permitted riverside viewpoint and take a meal break. Add a respectful visit to the Hazrat Shah Jalal shrine before the departure connection. Return to the station or departure point with adequate time for the confirmed connection.
Optional choices: Permitted Ratargul boat, local sightseeing vehicle or an extra Sylhet night; other river areas need a revised plan.
Monsoon greens the hills and wetlands; cooler months bring comfortable tea-country and forest walks.
Grip shoes, light long clothing, rain cover, sun protection, personal medicines, drinking water, ID and a small dry bag. Keep luggage light for station and local transfers.
Bangladeshi taka BDT. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Wetland boats and riverside visits follow water level, weather and local access rules. Tea estates and forest trails require visitor permission; shrine and community visits require respectful dress and consent. Forest paths, boat boarding and uneven ground require suitable walking ability.
Our representative will meet and welcome you at the agreed arrival point, then help you continue to your hotel or next transfer.
Confirming your holiday means you have read and accepted the cancellation terms.
Applicable taxes are included in the package price shown on this page unless a specific government or supplier charge is noted separately.
