Saudi Arabia visa requirements for Bangladeshi travellers.
ST018 is an Umrah pilgrimage. An ordinary Bangladesh passport needs the appropriate Saudi entry authorisation before travel. Bangladesh is not on the tourist eVisa portal’s ordinary nationality list. Nusuk Umrah offers licensed-provider packages, but availability depends on country/profile verification; this research does not establish unconditional Bangladesh self-service eligibility. [SA01–SA02]
Facts checked on
Position and scope
Saudi Arabia / সৌদি আরব; ISO SA; Arabian Peninsula, West Asia; capital Riyadh. Actual package: ST018 Makkah and Madinah Umrah. Authorities include Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Saudi visa authorities, Ministry of Health and the Saudi Embassy in Dhaka.
Visa category and eligibility
Choose the visa route that actually accepts the applicant and permits Umrah on the intended dates. The tourist eVisa page permits eligible holders to perform Umrah, excluding Hajj; its one-year/multiple-entry product must not be copied onto every Bangladesh Umrah visa. Any third-country-visa or residence concession needs separate current verification. Nusuk distinguishes visa-included packages from packages for people already holding valid entry authority. A package without visa is not visa-free travel. [SA01–SA02]
Entry conditions and supporting evidence
Obtain the chosen channel’s current passport-validity/blank-page rules, itinerary, accommodation/transport, insurance and applicant-specific document checklist before paying. Current Bangladesh-channel biometrics, minor/companion conditions and any interview were not conclusively verified. Do not impose old age/mahram or routine medical-test claims without a current applicable official rule. Visa permission, Umrah access and a Rawdah reservation are separate checks.
Document checklist
- Channel confirmation needed: Valid individual passport and the current Umrah-channel application/photo specifications; verify remaining validity and blank pages.
- Channel-specific evidence: Actual visa/package approval, booked itinerary/accommodation/transport and applicable insurance.
- Health, season-specific: Vaccination/health records required by the current applicable MOH Umrah notice; do not substitute the Hajj checklist. [SA03–SA04]
- Conditional / unverified: Companion, minor, residence or qualifying third-country-visa papers only for an officially accepted route; current Bangladesh biometrics need confirmation.
Application procedure
- Confirm the applicant’s accepted Umrah visa channel and the intended season with Nusuk/authorised provider or the Embassy-linked service.
- Get the current written checklist, itemised price and refund terms; prepare matching passport, itinerary and applicable health evidence.
- Submit through the accepted channel, complete any required appointment/biometrics and track until actual visa issuance.
- Check visa dates/stay, current pilgrimage access, health clearance and separately confirmed Rawdah arrangements before departure.
Official fees and processing
No universal current Bangladesh Umrah visa fee or decision time was verified. Obtain an itemised quote separating visa/insurance, platform or authorised-service cost, accommodation, transport and flights, with written refund terms. Nusuk’s displayed package price is not an isolated government visa tariff. Payment or a package order is not proof that the visa has been granted. [SA02]
Validity stay and entry limits
Read the actual visa’s entry-before date, number of entries, permitted stay and any seasonal departure deadline. Do not assume ninety days or one year merely from the separate tourist eVisa product. Umrah permission is not Hajj permission; pilgrimage-season restrictions may affect dates and access. Current season-specific arrival/departure cut-offs and Rawdah availability remain to be confirmed before selling ST018.
Transit and multi-country travel
The catalogue fixes no foreign transit country for ST018. Review the real carrier, airports, separate tickets and baggage. A Saudi stopover product is a different visa route and must not automatically replace a full Umrah-package visa. A UAE connection or visit needs its own UAE eligibility check; Saudi permission alone does not authorise UAE entry.
Documentation errors and refusal risks
The main risks are an ineligible visa route, treating an unverified agent as licensed, a missing seasonal authorisation and using old health instructions. General document risks include inconsistent names/dates and paying for an assumed Rawdah slot. Neither the visa nor a package advertisement guarantees every appointment or border admission.
Practical preparation
Use Nusuk’s licensed-provider list or the current Embassy-linked visa route and retain the actual approval reference. The MOH page currently links an Umrah health PDF labelled 1447H (2026): it specifies meningococcal ACYW protection at least ten days before arrival, with vaccine-type validity distinctions, and additional travel-history/risk-group conditions. Because the trip may be in 1448H, confirm the applicable season’s latest health notice with the provider and qualified vaccination service; do not silently present the older season as newly verified. Aircraft disinsection duties are not a personal vaccination certificate. [SA02–SA04]
Verification limits
Limit: Does not establish Bangladesh Umrah-channel acceptance or individual third-country-document concessions.
Limit: No verified public Bangladesh-specific acceptance, visa fee or guarantee of appointment availability.
Limit: Document explicitly covers 1447H; applicability and any replacement for a 1448H departure remain unconfirmed.
Limit: Contact/service identity does not itself confirm the current Bangladesh Umrah checklist.
REQUIRES FURTHER CONFIRMATION: the applicant’s current Bangladesh Umrah route, direct Nusuk availability, document/biometric checklist, visa fee/insurance and processing, issued validity/stay, 1448H health/seasonal rules and actual permit/Rawdah arrangements. These are publication and booking gates, not completed verification.
Rules may change. Reconfirm with the official authority and airline before applying and departure. A visa does not guarantee boarding or border admission.

Questions
Asked at our desk.
Is ST018 an ordinary sightseeing-visa case?
No. It is Umrah and needs the correct pilgrimage-compatible entry route and current access checks.
Is Bangladesh on the ordinary tourist eVisa nationality list?
It is absent from the retrieved official list; do not promise unconditional direct tourist eVisa.
Does a Nusuk package without visa mean visa-free entry?
No. It is for an eligible traveller who already has appropriate entry authority.
Can every Bangladesh resident book directly on Nusuk now?
Country/profile availability was not established; the platform verifies details before showing available packages.
Does Umrah approval authorise Hajj or guarantee Rawdah?
No. Hajj permission and Rawdah appointments are separate.
Are the 1447H health rules automatically the complete 1448H checklist?
No. Check the applicable season’s latest MOH notice and individual requirements before travelling.
