Cox's Bazar with kids: a calm, safe family beach holiday
Family hotels, safe swimming, Himchari, the fish aquarium and the Dulahazra safari park: how to plan Cox's Bazar at a pace that suits children.
A four-day family break with short beach visits, a flexible Marine Drive outing and a quieter town day. Give children and older relatives time to rest between short beach visits and one flexible Marine Drive day. Four days allow a quieter town or indoor day without overloading the sightseeing. Your family’s room and bedding arrangement is set around the adults and children travelling; connecting rooms, extra beds and child seats are additional services.

A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Travel by the agreed service and keep snacks and essential medicines accessible. Check in to the room arrangement for your family and settle in together. Choose a short Laboni Beach visit with close supervision and an early rest.
Day 2
Use a relaxed breakfast and start after the children are ready. Follow Marine Drive toward Himchari or Inani, with a relaxed pace between stops. Take a proper meal and shade break. Return for a restful evening at your accommodation.
Day 3
Visit Radiant Fish World for a closer look at its underwater displays. Choose lunch near the day's route. Keep market time short and enjoy browsing local shops. Enjoy a final beach walk before returning to your accommodation.
Day 4
Pack and check out without a rushed sightseeing detour. Return to Dhaka on your transport after the departure transfer.
Optional choices: Family or connecting-room upgrades, an extra bed, child seat, indoor admission or a private vehicle, each at extra cost.
Cooler, drier months bring comfortable beach walks and Marine Drive outings beside the open sea.
Light clothing, sun protection, rain cover, sand-friendly footwear, drinking water and personal medicines. Keep ID, tickets and a dry bag accessible.
Bangladeshi taka BDT. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Sea activities follow local warning flags, lifeguard instructions and storm notices. Beach sand and steps involve walking; children need close adult supervision. Outdoor dinners, sunsets and sea views follow weather and the actual room setting. Collecting marine coral and protected wildlife shells is prohibited.
