United Arab Emirates visa requirements for Bangladeshi travellers.

For the Dubai packages, plan on an approved pre-arranged UAE tourist entry permit before travel. A general tourist-visa service exists, but this research did not obtain nationality-specific confirmation that every Bangladesh applicant can currently use every sponsor channel. No Bangladesh visa-free or visa-on-arrival entitlement is established. Obtain written channel and applicant eligibility confirmation before payment. [AE01–AE03]

Facts checked on

Position and scope

United Arab Emirates / সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত; ISO AE; Western Asia; capital Abu Dhabi. Packages ST002 and ST003. Dubai processing is under GDRFA; other emirate and sponsor channels may differ. Tourism only; no work authorisation.

Visa category and eligibility

GDRFA Dubai describes a single-entry tourist route for 30 or 60 days through accredited tourism establishments. An electronic permit is still a visa/entry approval, not visa-free travel. Emirates publishes its own ticket-linked online route; that airline’s conditions do not establish availability with another carrier. Do not transfer conditional concessions for listed other nationalities to a Bangladesh passport. No blanket nationality ban or universal approval policy is claimed.

Entry conditions and supporting evidence

The GDRFA service requires a passport with at least six months remaining, onward/exit travel and UAE-valid medical insurance. Photo and passport copy are core application evidence. Emirates additionally requires accommodation and qualifying ticket evidence for its route. A fixed bank balance, Bangladesh NID for every applicant, biometrics or an embassy interview is not established as a universal requirement for this tourist product.

Document checklist

  • Official GDRFA core: Photo, passport copy and at least six months passport validity. [AE01]
  • Official GDRFA condition: Onward/exit ticket and medical insurance valid in UAE.
  • Channel-specific: Emirates route: qualifying ticket/PNR and accommodation evidence; follow its exact checklist. [AE02]
  • Conditional: Family or resident sponsorship relationship and sponsor documents only if using that route.
  • Not universally verified: Bangladesh NID, bank threshold, interview and biometric requirements depend on the actual channel; no universal rule asserted.

Application procedure

  • Confirm the applicant’s current eligibility and the correct tourist sponsor/airline channel before buying an inflexible package.
  • Provide the channel checklist and matching passport, travel, accommodation and insurance details.
  • Have the authorised filer submit to the relevant authority; pay the itemised official and handling charges and retain the reference.
  • Track through that official channel, await actual approval and check name, passport, entries, validity and stay. Complete any additional authority request.

Official fees and processing

For the specific GDRFA Dubai single-entry service, the published base fee is AED 200 for 30 days or AED 300 for 60 days, plus 5% VAT; other circumstances and channel charges can change the total. This is not an agency package price. Its stated service completion is 48 hours, not guaranteed approval and not a Bangladesh-specific turnaround. Emirates quotes separate USD channel prices and handling charges; obtain an itemised quote and written refund terms from the actual route. [AE01–AE02]

Validity stay and entry limits

Entry-before validity and days allowed after entry are different. Emirates’ displayed single-entry tourism table separates a 60-day use-before-entry window from a 30- or 60-day stay, but read the actual issued permit because channels differ. Extensions are not automatic; obtain permission before the endorsed stay expires. A Dubai–Abu Dhabi domestic road excursion is not another international entry.

Transit and multi-country travel

Emirates publishes prearranged 48- and 96-hour transit products linked to its tickets. They do not cover a normal four- or six-day holiday by assumption. For an actual airside connection, have the carrier verify terminals, transfer access, baggage and overnight operating arrangements. Collecting bags through immigration, changing airports or entering a landside hotel requires appropriate UAE entry authority; separate tickets can create that need. [AE02]

Documentation errors and refusal risks

The key unresolved risk is paying for a sponsor channel that cannot accept the applicant’s current nationality/profile. General risks also include mismatched passport details, flight/hotel dates, insufficiently documented purpose and treating a submission reference as an approved permit. No refusal percentage is asserted.

Practical preparation

Use an authority-listed sponsor or the airline route actually booked, ask who files the application and obtain the permit reference. Check approval authenticity through the issuing authority’s official service. Verify the latest acceptance position with GDRFA/ICP or the UAE Embassy before non-refundable purchases. UAE entry eligibility must be checked separately from Saudi Umrah eligibility.

Verification limits

Limit: Generic product page does not confirm current Bangladesh-profile acceptance or total agency cost.

Limit: Recognised carrier guidance supplements GDRFA; it is carrier-specific and not a nationality acceptance guarantee.

Limit: No substantive current Bangladesh tourist acceptance decision was published in the retrieved contact page.

REQUIRES FURTHER CONFIRMATION: current Bangladesh-national acceptance by the intended sponsor, any applicant-specific conditions, total channel cost/refund terms and the actual transit itinerary. A public service page establishes a visa product, not current acceptance or approval for every Bangladesh applicant.

Rules may change. Reconfirm with the official authority and airline before applying and departure. A visa does not guarantee boarding or border admission.

Questions

Asked at our desk.

Is an online Dubai visa the same as visa-free travel?

No. It is a prearranged entry approval and must actually be issued.

Can every Bangladeshi apply through any agency now?

This was not verified. Confirm the intended sponsor’s current nationality/profile acceptance first.

Does a US or European visa automatically grant a Bangladesh passport arrival access?

No such Bangladesh entitlement was established; do not borrow rules written for other nationalities.

Is AED 200 the total price of every Dubai visa?

No. It is the specific GDRFA 30-day base fee; VAT and channel costs differ.

Does Dubai to Abu Dhabi need another country visa?

It is travel within UAE; the actual UAE permission must cover the visit.

Can a 96-hour transit permission cover six days?

Do not use it for that plan. Select a tourist category with sufficient approved stay.

Is 48-hour service completion guaranteed approval?

No. It is the GDRFA service indication, not an applicant-specific decision deadline.

Do separate air tickets guarantee airside transit?

No. Confirm baggage, terminals, transfer and immigration with the actual carrier.
