Sajek Valley tips: clouds, Konglak sunrise, jeeps and cottages
When to see Sajek's clouds, how to catch sunrise at Konglak, why to book early, and what to know about the jeep escort, network, cash and cold nights.
Three days combining Sajek’s hill scenery with Khagrachari. Add a Khagrachari night after Sajek so the hill descent does not have to flow straight into the long Dhaka journey. The three-day itinerary includes an extra Konglak walk and a cave or waterfall activity after the descent.
Starting fromBDT 6,700Per person

A simple route plan for this package, with the starting point, transfers, stay and key experiences kept together for each day.
Day 1
Arrive in Khagrachari on the confirmed service. Continue into Sajek’s hill landscape. Check in to the accommodation actually quoted. Enjoy the evening from a sunset viewpoint, then return for dinner.
Day 2
Add a Konglak walk before the descent. Return toward Khagrachari within the authorised travel window. Check in to the confirmed mainland accommodation. Explore Alutila Cave or enjoy a waterfall stop during the Khagrachari stay.
Day 3
Enjoy a short local activity before the return journey. Return to Dhaka on the confirmed service with realistic road buffers.
Optional choices: An extra Sajek night, a no-cave route variation or private hill transport, each at extra cost.
Cooler, drier periods suit ridge walks and early hill mornings, with light and mist changing across the valleys.
Grip shoes, light long clothing, rain cover, sun protection, personal medicines, drinking water, ID and a small dry bag. Keep luggage light for station and local transfers.
Bangladeshi taka BDT. Keep a separate budget for personal spending and paid extras.
Sajek is in Rangamati and the road approach is through Khagrachari. Hill movement follows current security instructions and authorised travel windows. Cloud views and waterfall flow vary with weather, and Konglak paths and Alutila Cave involve steep or uneven walking.
